If you’re out and about on Labor Day, stop by our shelter at 415 Campbell Ave for our Labor Day Adoption Specials! On September 4th all cat adoptions are free and dog adoption fees are being cut to $25 with an approved application. We've got all types of cats and dogs so come on out to see us!
Come see us before the Fleet Feet Pub Run & Walk at Big Lick Brewing Company located in Downtown Roanoke! Enjoy a 1 to 5 mile walk around town with your new forever friend! We’ll be there from 5pm to 8pm.
Meet us at Twin Creeks, Explore Park’s brewpub for specialty hot dogs and adoptable pets! You can wander the pet-friendly park with your new best friend or sit back with them to enjoy the scenery and food. We’ll be there from 1pm to 4pm.
Come meet your local agent! On September 15th from 12pm to 3pm, we’ll be visiting Amanda Christiansen’s State Farm Office. Come out and chat while you meet your new best friend. There will be several of our adoptable animals there, eager to play with employees and visitors. Remember, employees will get half off the fee should they choose to adopt at the event! Come out and enjoy a vibrant celebration of love at Southwest Virginia Pride Fest '23! Meet us at the Vinton War Memorial to celebrate togetherness at a festival of music, dance, speakers, and adoptable animals. We’ll be there from 12pm to 3pm. We can’t wait to see you there!
Come meet us for coffee! On September 22nd from 6pm to 8pm, we’ll be having a relaxing evening at Sweet Donkey Coffee. Come out and say hi while you enjoy a cup of coffee, have some snacks, and meet your new best friend. There will be several of our adoptable animals there, eager to play with employees and visitors.
