Tiny Tot came in a few days ago. Her condition was

Tiny Tot came in a few days ago. Her condition was critical as she was barely moving and cold to the touch. Her body temperature and blood glucose were too low to read. Our medical team rushed to provide her with emergency medical care. Tiny Tot received subcutaneous fluids, dextrose, and antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection. We were able to raise her body temperature slowly, and she went home as a foster with a staff member so she could continue to receive around-the-clock care. Tiny Tot is only about four weeks old. When she arrived last week, she was .9 pounds; now, she is nearly 2 pounds. Tiny Tot is now more stable and getting lots of TLC in foster care. Being so small and young, she is still at risk and has a long road ahead, but we are so happy to see this sweet girl eating on her own and having more energy! Please send positive thoughts her way. ❤️

Rescue update: Flynn is one of the 29 cats who arr

Rescue update: Flynn is one of the 29 cats who arrived yesterday. Like the rest of his housemates, Flynn is very malnourished and extremely dehydrated. He also has a rodent ulcer on his lip. Flynn has received a steroid treatment to help with the ulcer and lots of TLC. In addition, Flynn has an upper respiratory infection that we have started him on antibiotics for and several lesions on his skin. He is a total cuddle bug; all he wants is love and attention. These sweet cats have a long way to go with their recovery process, but they are getting lots of TLC in the meantime. Stay tuned for more updates on these sweet cats, and consider donating to help with their ongoing care. ❤️

Rescue update: Sweet Ava is one of the 29 cats who

Rescue update: Sweet Ava is one of the 29 cats who arrived today. She has terrible wounds on her neck, and it's heartbreaking to see. These cats were abandoned and locked in the home for 10 days without food or water. We are listening to them crunch on their food now, and we hope they finally know they are safe. We are working on medical exams currently and will continue to post updates. ❤️

RESCUE IN PROGRESS: We have 29 cats on the way to our facility. These cats have been living in rough conditions and are in very poor shape. Our hearts break for these sweet animals but we are so thankful they are now in safe hands. Our medical and rescue team is preparing for their arrival. These cats are covered in wounds and abscesses, have severe upper respiratory infections, are covered in fleas, and are extremely malnourished. Please consider contributing to their care and stay tuned for more updates as they arrive. ❤️

We can't figure out why Apple keeps getting overlooked. This girl has been with us since August and rarely gets inquiries. Apple LOVES people and is a total cuddle bug. She would be a fabulous dog for a family with older kids or someone who loves to adventure. Apple would also be happy just cuddling on the couch with her humans. Sweet Precious is one of the Texas Travelers. This sweet girl is 9 years old and full of love. She is blind, and our team is working on a solution to make her more comfortable in her new environment. She loves everyone she meets and is a total sweetheart. We are waiting on lab work to ensure she doesn't have heartworms and that all her organs are functioning well. After that, our medical team will spay her, and she will undergo a dental procedure because she has severe dental disease and several teeth that need to be extracted. Stay tuned for more updates on these sweet dogs. As lab work comes back, we will know more about the extent of medical care they will need. Please consider making a contribution to their care. ❤️
