Due to the recent dog respiratory outbreak, Angels of Assisi is hosting a Quick Shot Drive Through Vaccination Clinic on Friday, November 10th from 2pm to 5pm at Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection to help pet owners protect the health of their dogs and ultimately our animal community. We are offering a fast, one-shot Bordetella and Distemper vaccination for $5 per dog. Bordetella (kennel cough) is a bacteria that can cause respiratory problems (coughing, decreased energy, decreased appetite, runny eyes/nose). When pets are stressed or immunocompromised (puppies and elderly pets) Bordetella can lead to pneumonia or infections. Canine distemper infects the lungs, airways, nose, and eyes. It can also infect the brain and suppress the immune system. With our Quick Shot Clinic, you can make sure your pet is protected and suppress the spread of these viruses.
Pet Health Mobile Clinic
Bring your cats and dogs to Felts Park in Galax Monday, October 23rd, for a Pet Health Clinic! From 10 am to 2 pm, Angels of Assisi will have our mobile clinic there ready to vaccinate and examine your pets. We hope to see you there!
