Our Adoption Center is open from 12 pm to 6 pm, 7 days a week and walk-in appointments are available. You can view all of our available animals on our website at www.angelsofassisi.org/animals. While applications are available onsite, we encourage you to fill out an online application prior to stopping by. If there is an animal(s) that you are interested in, please fill out an application. Angels of Assisi is the only adoption center in Roanoke that offers an “adoption guarantee”, meaning that if you cannot keep your adopted pet, for any reason, that pet is guaranteed a place in our adoption center until a new home can be found.
Most of the animals at the Angels of Assisi Adoption Center are also available for foster care to help animals needing medical care or a break from the adoption center. If you are interested in our foster program, please visit our Foster page for more information.
All animals will be spayed or neutered, receive necessary vaccinations, and checked for sound health and temperament before adoption. Adopted pets are welcome to come back for veterinary care at the Community Pet Clinic.
